Business Quickies - The Art of Networking (CCP)

  • Does the mere thought of networking cause you anxiety?
  • Would you rather go skydiving without a parachute than attend business networking events in a roomful of strangers? 
  • Just need to brush-up and learn some new networking skills? 

The Chamber of Commerce in partnership with our Chamber Champions are proud to invite you to our first of three Business Quickies. 

Business Quickies are designed to be a relaxed & safe interactive way to learn new networking skills & speed networking with a small group of other Chamber business members in a stress-free environment.

You will: Learn the do's & don'ts of networking, learn how to talk about yourself and your business in an engaging, memorable and compelling way, practice with some speed networking* and walk away more confident when breaking the ice. (Extra Bonus: Make a new business connection to meet up with at the next Chamber event and try-out your new skills together! ) 

*Speed networking is speed dating for business! After the learning portion, you will then each position yourself facing each other on either side of lined up tables. Once everyone is in place, a bell will ring indicating the start of your "Business Quickie". Each person shall have 1.5 minutes to practice the new skills and anything else that can be squeezed into the time allotted (including the exchange of business cards, so make sure to bring some), The bell will ring again, prompting members on one side of the tables to shift over one spot for their next business quickie.

Cost $25.00 per person includes a variety of breakfast treats and coffee
