Join the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce as we celebrate the grand opening of Grande Prairie Technical Institute (GP Tech) — an exciting new addition to education in Grande Prairie and the surrounding region.

GP Technical Institute is bringing a new approach to secondary education, combining Alberta curriculum with hands-on technical training, real-world learning and career-focused opportunities. Students will have the opportunity to explore fields including automotive technology, metal fabrication and welding, woodworking and construction, and culinary arts while developing practical skills and industry-recognized credentials.

This milestone represents more than the opening of a new school. It represents new opportunities for young people in our region and a meaningful investment in the future of our workforce, our industries and our community.

Join us as we officially welcome Grande Prairie Technical Institute to our community, celebrate the vision behind this important initiative, and recognize the opportunities GP Tech will create for students and families across Grande Prairie and area.
